According to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, more than 2.3 million women were diagnosed with breast cancer worldwide and 685,000 died in 2020. The BCRF also estimates that in the U.S. alone in 2021, there will be 281,550 new cases of invasive breast cancer diagnosed in women and 2,650 cases diagnoses in men.

The Doctors want to remind everyone that early detection is key. Monthly checks and routine mammograms are the best defense in staying healthy and catching early cancers. Plus, if you have a family history of breast cancer, be sure to let your doctor know.
