I am a 53 year old woman who has coronary artery disease, 6 blockages [4 at 70%, 2 at 50%], fibromyalgia, arthritis,
spondylosis and chronic back pain from the arthritis and compression of 4 discs.
I do not have medical insurance. I can not find a doctor who cares i am only getting 4 hours of sleep on average a night.
This is my third year. i have seen 5 doctors so far that don't feel it is a problem. I feel this is damaging me more, not sleeping,
and making my other problems more intense. I believe i am a hypersensitive patient. Not one doctor has ever thought this.
I was given Wellbutrin. I had a terrible reaction. Hives, vomiting, diarrhea, sweats, dizziness and chest pain for a week!
When i told my doctor of 20 years this, he looked at me like i was lying. He said "All this from 1 pill" and I replied yes. He just gave me a look.
So far i have had serious side affects from Statins, psych drugs, antidepressants. Celebrex, 1 pill, put me in bed w/chest pains for a week. Cymbalta made me feel the same as Wellbutrin.
I am only taking Toprol xl 25 mg, and 2 baby aspirins. my chronic back pain is so intense, I was told to take Tylenol!
I am looking now for another doctor but have had no luck because of no insurance. I am at my wits end. How am i able to live a
semi-normal life when i am so tired constantly and in pain. If I had insurance, would the medical community care more?
Am I a red flag to stay away from?
What advice can you offer me. How do you feel about my situation? I need help and no one is willing to help. I feel alone, rejected
and feel my future is getting dimmer by the day. please help me.
Thank You,
Jane
