"O" Words I love and hate

Words that beging with the letter "O" ... where do I begin.  Well, at the beginning I suppose with the one I love most, Oprah.  Oprah gave us all first herself, then she gave us Dr. Phil and then Dr. Oz.   Dr. Phil in turn gave us Dr. Travis which begat The Doctors.... sounds all a bit biblical doesn't it?  Well, not to be sacreligious, but it all of this has really been somewhat profound.  Sounds crazy to say that about TV shows doesn't it, but here we all are, and it is because of these TV shows that we are all here changing our lives and improving our health and trying to live our best lives.  So first of all, thank you Oprah, without you, none of this would be happening.  I doubt she will ever see this but just in case, I wanted to say that you have given us all so much, I don't know how to say thank you enough and I am so sad that your show is ending, I will miss you so much.

Now for the bad "O" words.  Obesity.  I hate that word.  It is too close to obscene.  Are we obscene because we are fat? I don't think so.  I think the obscenity truly is that we have become a bi-product of our own society and that has been reflected in our size.  We have become a society of overconsumption and over purchasing - a super sized, bigger is better mindset that has taken over all of us and led many people to not just health problems but also financial ruin.  When you think about it, that is obscene.

One of the worst "O" words I remember came from something I learned from Dr. Oz (and his name is one of the good "O" words!).  The omentum - you all remember, that is that nasty sheath of fat that lives on our belly that grows with every burger, every fry, every bad food.  That is an awful "O" word.  Hey Dr. Ordon, why don't you invent a laproscopic procedure to go in on maybe four spots and with a laser (and little scarring) be able to cut that nasty bit out?   No lipo, just cut the whole damn thing out and be done with it.  I'd sign up for that.  That idea is yours Dr. O, it's a freebie, not even any royalties required!  LOL!  But by the way, if it works, I'd love a little boob job to fix the fried eggs I'll be left with after this diet as a thank you.  Just kidding!

So anyway, how about some good "O" words.  How about optimism, I am very optimistic that this diet - this lifetime eating plan will stick with me.  I am of the opinion that this original idea will have a great outcome and will work once and for all.

One thing this plan has taught me already is that I have been guilty of overconsumption in terms of overeating.  My goal is to make that trait obsolete in my life.

That's my rant on letters beginning with "O".  I feel like Ernie and Bert should be coming up next.....

Have a good night everyone.

Great outlook!  What about organized?  Also, I am looking for the day that I can go on vacation and not have an overflowing suitcase because my clothes are all 3x.  My son and daughter are always able to use a smaller suitcase, but my clothes always take up so much room.  It will be nice to pack those smaller sizes in.

I hope you don't mind I used your Os!

Well, you choose so many it is gonna be a challenge Ms writerchick1 to come up with any O words and than put them in a sentence. LOL

Here goes I have been oppressing myself with food. I intend to overcome this obstacle and take this opportunty to reclaim my self.. My whole self. O-boy, I said it outloud. I need God and my friend here to help me make this a reality and overcompensate for my past aggressions. I can not wait to be able to eat oatmeal once again. How's that, kinda of fun. Thanks for the exercise, writerchick1 ♥¸ . ♥¸ .♥¸ tifa
