I don't know if they shut down the site to clean up the mess or not, but the things that were posted were awful.  I wrote to the board twice to ask that they be removed, one of them was a teenager.  I told the board that I thought obscenities and pornographic material were not acceptable and asked if they could kick the offenders off of the site.  By the time I logged off there were 3 moderators on trying to clean things up, and then when I came back the site was down.

Wow!!! Is that why the site was down yesterday, because of the Salvia topic? It did get pretty nasty. I read it after it had already taken place then left to do something, came back and when I went to go back in and everything was down. well, it seems a Mom who was concerned that the show was teaching the kids how to use drugs got a response about she better be worried about what this clown was going to do to her kids (very graphoc, very sexual, very child sexual abuse)  plus very graphic photos..

I responded that this individual was 'sick and inappropriate', the response was 'yeah, but they can't figure out how to get me off'

I went BERSERK!! Called the show and wasn't pleased with the response that 'well, we have to consider freedom of speech'

WHAT???? I'm sure Dr. Phil and his son (who is the producer of  "The Doctors") would NOT agree with this. I called every number I had for the show, emailed the show and almost called LAPD..

A few hours later, the post and photos were removed-thankfully.....

Can't we get a blip to notify moderators when there is something offensive, inappropriate or illegal?

I was transfered to tech support--it was there I was told, "well, we have to consider freedom of speech"--hopefully, we won't need to do that again and we can keep the board friendly and informative-even if there's something we disagree with...sigh

Wow jailrn Good job with taking action.No body needs to be put thru all that. If we wanted a porn sight we could go there.But I am glad the board cleared it up so fast. Hopefully this will not help again.
