Hello all,Boy did today show ,show how great this is going to be. So many points of veiws. And I feel they hit on veiws from all sides. There are a lot of people I am sure with young Daughters who had no clue about this drug,and I am sure there are a lot of people with young women who had not heard about it either. It is wonderful those people will be able to now track the progress of this drug and also talk to the Doctors they trust.
I thought it was great what they did for the 2nd young girl,She was so happy and her self esteem went thru the roof. I bet there are alot of people this will help also. All the information they give will not be for all of us,but we may be able to share with someone we know. Or may be able to post on this sight and help someone else if we have been thru it.
I am so excited to see so many people reaching out and asking for help and advice or sharing theire experiences. Giving others hope and encouragement. On this sight you can post anything does not have to be about the show,It can be about anything you want to talk about,the floor is all ours,so please use it. People with questions and concerns are not alone anymore.And something you think you are alone with you will find out you are not alone and many will reach out too you. So please SHARE YOUR HOPES AND DREAMS WITH OTHERS.
I AM PUTTING MY SELF OUT THERE FOR ANYONE I CAN HELP!!! AND I SURE IF I NEED A HAND UP I WILL HAVE SOME FRIENDS HERE.

First, I LOVE the show! Although it's 2 hours, it sure doesn't seem like it!
I work during the day and DVR everything. I even DVR shows that air when I'm home so I can zip through them without the commercials. I figure it saves me a few hours a week. I was really pleased with how they addressed the HPV issue. I have 2 daughters (19 & 21) and many friends with daughters from 7 through 21. It's interesting to me how many women I know who were dead set against it because of religious beliefs. One friend said that her preacher even mentioned it in a serman and thought it was a "permission slip" that they should not sign. hmmm.... Anyways, I think they did a really good jog of hitting all the pro / cons and points of view in such a short amount of alloted time. As for me, I think that I'm with the mom who asked the original question and prefer to wait a little longer, until this drug has a longer track record. There was an OBGYN/Expert on Oprah a while back who was very against this drug saying that it's real benefit is for those with compromised immune systems, kidney transplants (or facing a kidney transplant) and a couple other conditions that would elimination all but a very few of the general population. As long as the experts are still not in agreement, I'm not sure I can be comfortable with it just yet. Thoughts?
