Boy have time changed since I have had my babies. saving Stem Cells in a bank. I think it is a super idea. My son and daughter-in law will be having a baby in Feb I am going to bring this up to me.I hope they will do it.

There is alot in stem cells that we have not even begun to touch. There is so much for us to learn yet, Like all things there will be good and bad in it. We just have to look at the positive things that we find and cliing to the hope that there just may be the answers to alot of our prayers

A friend of mine banked her son's cord blood when he was born. Two years later, Markie was diagnosed with Luekemia. They were able to use the banked cord blood and now 1 yr later he is cancer-free. If they had not banked the cord blood, they would have had to wait until a donor could be found. The list here in Alabama was 4 years. Markie wouldn't have made it. The banked cord blood saved his life. If I was to have another child, even if I had to borrow, beg or steal the money I would make sure that the cord blood was banked.
