When I started and at my age of 64, I was sure I could never get to 120 lbs. That was my goal. Then 118, & now I have made it to 116! Now I just know I can get to 115. Love those BMI numbers, use to be scared to death!
I take a pinch here and another pinch there, and ask self..."Self I think you can drop another five pounds"! I wonder if I keep doing this, will all disappear or will I finally realize, well. I am 64! This is really fun and I love this new approach to dropping these pounds! I started at 148 and on a 4'11" frame, that was not so easy to bend and tie those shoes.
So for anyone just starting, (this is Day 6 on this program), just do it! No excuses. I have had minutes of wanting to give up and I just let go of it! Cycle 1 and I can't wait for Cycle 2.

Hi Wags10,
I too have had those minutes over the weekend...I am so glad we didn't give in!!!!.
My Day 8 is tomorrow....half way there to cycle 2!! It is amazing that you were able to find a plan that worked for you to help get those pounds off...for me I pray to remain motivated with this working plan. I know it works...because I feel amazing already. I am not weighing myself just yet. The last diet I was on I let the scale drive me crazy. So this time I want to do it a little bit different.
No excuses here!!! ;)
David, I weigh myself Wednesday & Friday, but I sneeked today and I made it to 115.8; while I know this might not be a strong 115, it inspires me to continue. Every afternoon between 3-4:00 it is the toughest for me; after dinner, I ignore all thoughts of caving and by morning I am feeling really good about this and myself! I understand the wi crazies! I would be nuts if I did it daily!
Whoops, forgot Day 7!
Wags--Wow that is great.............
