I joined WW and dropped most of the weight that I needed to loose and then I discovered this program. I now see that I still have a lot to drop if I go by their weight charts! So I take it 5 at a time! I am really happy to be doing the same thing from a different perspective. I especially think I will like to juggles the cycles to keep my metabolism happy. It doesn't matter whether you have 50-30 or 10 lbs to loose, it's all the same. It takes comittment, time, and a lot of focusing and self-talk! You have to really want this and I do. I have dropped from a size 12 (almost a 14) to a size 4-6! If I go by their charts, I will be a definite 4! I didn't think I would make it this far, and this is another exciting challenge! 64 years old and feeling terrific. DAY 3!

Welcome aboard. Several of my WW friends are now doing this diet to lose the last few pounds. I am going by what WW says to weigh. For my height it is 150 at the high end. I was down to 162 and then I had reconstruction surgery on Monday and now weigh 177. What a bummer. Worked so hard for this loss. They tell me not to weigh for a few weeks but I can''t help it. I know this is not from over eating, the hospital food was terrible and I didn't eat much and haven't eaten much since I have been home (Wednesday). This morning I was 172 so it is coming off. I am never hungry on this diet so I don't usually have snacks in the afternoon. I do have apples or grapes for my morning snack and then we have dinner around 4:30. I have my second yogurt then. Good luck.

My day 4, cycle 1 and my motivation is a winning one for today!
Hi Wags, welcome aboard. Today is day 6 for me so our journey here is pretty close.. My BF is doing WW while I am doing the 17DD. I am rooting for her sucess as she is mine. I have way more weight to lose than she does so I figured this diet would be a quicker way to jump start me towards my goals. hmmm...We shall see..
Kudos on your weight lost thus far. It really sounds like your are very determined to reach your goals and that encourages me to keep pushing forward...in time it will be my turn...right now I can't wait to see size 16 again...and eventually under size 10.
Keep posting your results...and best wishes!!

Out of curiosity, how tall are you?
Melissa.
I went to the Olive Garden for dinner and succeeded with Salmon & broccolli with olive oil! Yea, with a tea it can be done - perfect & now I can hardly wait for tomorrow morning to start Day 8!
Sounds like you did good at the Olive Garden. It I have to eat out, I also eat there. The only problem I have there is the sodium. Way too much. Weighed this morning and was down to 167, so have lost 10 lbs in the past 7 days. That was a good feeling, so now I need to lose 5 more to be were I was pre surgery. Guess the body just needs to do what it needs to do. Can't wait to start exercising again. Have been walking every day increasing that. I still weigh in at WW but won't be going back until the 22nd.
