I'm a 54 year old woman who never thought I'd get old. I have inherited a few family ailments and other old age illnesses, the last being 'gout,' of all things. Boy, was it painful. So far it is being managed, but I have yet to find my 'triggers.'  People tell me all the time I don't look my age but I feel like I'm 70 inside. I just moved from a townhouse to a ground floor apartment because old sports injuries are beginning to bother me also. What a welcome to the 'over the hill' club. LOL.
