I am in my early 30's and a  happily married mother to 3 beautiful boys, ages 8, 7, and 4.  I live in the beautiful San Luis Valley in Colorado and couldn't imagine living anywhere without mountains and open roads.  Diabetes, Arthritis, and heart conditions run very strong on both sides of my family.  I am trying to become more involved with researching why these diseases happen and how to take control of them before they get a hold on me.  My husband also has a strong history of diabetes in his family, so it is very important that we teach our children a healthy lifestyle which can be a challenge at times.  I am currently a stay at home mom, but plan to go back to college after my youngest enters grade school.  I had always wanted to be a doctor, but I don't think that would work out-I get squeamish watching "House", lol.
