My name is Vickie, I am 41 years old with a wonderful husband and 2 great kids.  We are a close family and very close with my parents, (husband's are deceased) and with my sister and her family.  We all serve in ministry together at the church my parents founded 25 years ago and are still pastoring today.  My husband and I are the Worship Leaders and my sister and brother-in-law are the Youth Pastors.  Our lives are centered around our church family and helping them, church events, and serving our community in various ways.

I love style!!! from apparrel fashion to home decor, doesn't matter, I LOVE IT!!!  Although I am overweight, and have been all my life, I am very happy & healthy, per my Doctor (just had my yearly check-up), and I love to dress nice.  I love wearing comfortable yet stylish clothes and have always been blessed to do so.  My closet is filled with different things to wear because I love being casual as much as I love dressing up.  I work at the local elementary school, so I have to dress casually-nice, but comfortable!  Church attire is casual to very nice, and when I'm out on my own, I love a nice pair of denim shorts, a seasonable-fashionable blouse, and a good pair of Croc flip flops, with all the accessories.

What I love about my life and life itself, is that it is ever changing.....you cannot get bored with life.  Everything in life is a season and it's passing by.  You're either getting ready to go through something, going through it, or coming out of it...And there is something to be learned in every situation and circumstance.  I always try to look for the good in people , things and situations.....sometimes it's hard, but I can usually be successful at finding a good or at least a good outcome.  And life is what YOU make it.  My life is what it is, because of the choices I have made, and even though I've made some bad ones, life tends to let you make it right again.  My life is filled with love, contentment and joy!  I'm not rich in money by any means -- we do struggle badly there.....but in all other aspects of life, I am a very rich woman and very blessed....and I allow those things to override the financial stresses.  I try not to focus on the financial needs, although it's tough sometimes, and just do my best.   I laugh alot, because I believe whole-heartedly that it is the best medicine - even when you're not sick it helps keep the sickness away. I love spending time with my family and friends...I believe spending time with those you love, and that love you is very healthy.  And it makes me happy!

I have innumerous acquaintances.  Alot of friends.  And a few irreplaceable friends for life.  I am touch by many people lives and that makes me happy.  My very closest friends do include my mom and my sister.  But my best friend is very very special to me.  And it's the little things in life that make us happy.  Like going to lunch.  Talking on the phone.  Sending each other a 'thinking of you' card, even though we see each other all the time.  She serves in the ministry with me as well and we plan and do alot of church activites together.  And our favorite thing is going to the beach...we are only 45 minutes from either coast of Florida...and we love to spontaneously pack a cooler and head to the beach for a day....talk about therapeutic!  It's the best! 

I have a great support system between family and friends, and I thank God for all of them and how He has blessed my life.
