About Me

I'm an active 43yr old stay at home housewife. My husband and I will celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary Oct. 27th, 2009.  For the last few weeks, I've been having episodes where my whole body just shakes all over. It even affects my speech. The episodes can happen during the day or wake me up during the night and I have no way of knowing how long they will last at a time.  My husband spoke to my neurologist who increased my dosage from Klonopin .5mg/1 at bedtime to one in the morning and one at night. This has not made any difference in my condition. My hands have been just a little shaky for a few years (like I can't draw a straight line or hold our Nintendo Wii remote steady) and I haven't been able to stand and balance on one leg for many years. My husband says the  Dr. referred to it as the 'tremors'. I just know they scare me to death and need to know what is wrong. I've always been healthy except for thyroid surgery a few years ago and back surgery last year for degenerative disk disease which resulted in bone fusion in my lower back. Please help me and my husband find out why this is happening to me and what we need to do for me to get better.

Thanks

Tina R. Rodgers
