Hello, Ciao ,

I am Toni Lee Lazzara. I live in Salem, Alabama. I am 50 years old. I am very proud of being that age. I do not feel my age none what so ever. I look like I am in my 30’s.

I have a 32-year-old son who recently got married, Feb 3^rd of 2007, one year to the date he came home from Iraq. He and his new wife live in Opelika, Alabama. They are trying to start a family this August.

I am divorce. Lazzara is my maiden name. I live way back in the woods in Russell County. I am a Paraeducator at Smiths Station High School of Smiths, Lee County, Alabama, working in Resource Classes (Special Education) with students, which have special needs, 9^th to 12th grades. This is my 5^th year as a Paraeducator. My career goal is to be an Employment Specialist / Job Coach with Special Needs Consumers to teach them how to live and work in society.

I was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. I am the middle child of 5 children. My mother’s family is part of the Smokey Mountains Heritage from East Tennessee and North Carolina. My father’s family was from Longi, Province Messina, Sicily, Italy. They came to the US in 1923 in Easton, Pa. I love researching my family genealogy. I have been working on it for many years.

I have three Longhaired Dachshunds, and one white German shepherd; as well as all other animals in the woods around my house. I was raised in East Alabama since I was 4 months old. I lived on Lake Harding, Chattahoochee River.

I went to Beulah High School and graduated May of 1976. I was married my last two years of high school, and right after I graduated, I had my son. I attended Southern State Community College in Opelika, Al. from 1993 to 1996, but I did not finish at that time. I am also certified in Patient, Family, and Professional Continuing Education, State of Alabama Mental Health, Bryce Hospital, University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, April 1996. This is my 7th quarter here at AXIA College. I am applying for my Associates in Psychology, which I will obtain this degree in March of 2009. I will proceed for my Bachelor’s in Human Resources. I have work for many manufacturing companies here in East Alabama. My last detail about myself is that I am a member of Life Church in Smiths Station, Al. I have been there now for going on 4 years. I love my church family. For they always give the greatest love especially cause I know it come from our Good “Lord, Jesus”.
