My name is Linda and I have recently returned to Memphis, TN.  I live in a midtown highrise apt. 6th floor and love to sit on my southern exposure balcony.  I enjoy a casual style of living - both clothes and furnishings.  I intend to use the metro transit whenever possible and am located so that I can walk to almost everything I need and that is great.  Moving into a 684 SF apt. from a house with attic and basement has been a monumental challenge - and one I havent's as yet accomplished since my move this past Sept.   Getting rid of stuff is really hard.  I am aiming for a simplified and health life style.  I need to lose about 20 lbs. - generally I eat pretty healthily, but need to get this extra weight off and look forward to any ideas and encouragement from any of you.

I just lost my 16 yr. old cat, but still have a sweet one named Sugar who is 6 yrs. old.  All my cats have been rescues - 3 from camping trips and one from the local Humane Society.
