Can you please explain what to do?
Melissa.
Melissa,
All that you have to do is add the letters ICE in front of any name in the contacts of your phone. So for example if you have your mother listed as MOM, it should now look like this: ICE MOM. This will tell the paramedic that looks in your contacts that she is one of the contacts he should call to find out more about you. You can add this to as many people as you like, but be cautious not to put in to many. Always make sure that the person you list has any pertinent medical information that needs to be shared. You can see more about ICE at ice4safety.com or our website for smart-phone ICE apps.
Thank you....I'd never heard of it before until now! Great post!
Melissa.
Your welcome Melissa! Tell all of your friends and family to do the same. Most Parmedics have heard of the concept and should check if necessary.
