About Me
I am 52 yrs old. Married for 27 yrs., step mom of 3, grandma(step) of 6 (one is with the Lord). My husband & I are retired.
I am more of a tshirt & jeans girl. I want to be more stylish however I am lacking in the skill. I was always a tomboy ergo; a poor sense of style. I love the outdoors, grandkids, friends, golf, camping, motor vehicle activities from scooters to big rig driving & doing all sorts of things. Looking forward to grandkids growing older so we can do fun stuff together.
The last thing I bought for a friend was a tshirt that said something like "forget the box, just think outside".

I went to my dr today. Have lost 30 lbs according to his scales. Yeeha!!!!!!! exactly 30 days ago he ran blood tests so I will have something to run by todays results when they come back. He said my BMI is 24 which is exactly where it is supposed to be. He doesn't want me to lose any more weight. He said work on staying fit at this point. Thought that was reasonable. I've been struggling with my food for a few weeks now. Haven't gained more than 2 lbs. That's a good thing. His comments motivated me a little more. Going to figure out how to measure body fat now.
Today is May 4th. I've lost 23 lbs. I started back to my old ways when someone brought me easter candy. Up until day before yesterday I was having trouble with the program. I am back on 2nd round of C1 & have not gained any more weight. That is truly a relief. I was afraid I was going to eat my way back up to 170lbs & hate myself in the morning. Because of the skills I've learned I have been able to get back on the program again. I want to lose another 10-15lbs. Work on my excess loose skin from being overweight for so long.
I have been exercising everyday up until easter. I've missed exercise for the first time 3 -4 day in a row. Today I am starting back. It is truly making a difference. I don't want to miss that long again.
Start Cycle 2 tomorrow. Apprehensive. Bought a few recommended carbs. The daily food intake looks like a lot of food. i don't think I can eat all they recommend. any comments.
Started the program March 4th @ 170lbs & climbing. Was very discouraged. Today is March 14th & I'm @ 162!!!!! Never thought 8 lbs would mean so much. I am feeling a whole lot better & am actually enjoying my program. I really want to lose about 40 total lbs now 32 lbs & be @ a healthy weight for my later years. I have been under 155 one time in 36 years. I am looking forward to life & feeling good.
I am finding I am having trouble staying acitve though. I am not a self starter but have to be in my circumstances. So I'm outa here to go motivate myself instead of being computer/tv bound.
