About Me

Hello Doctors, I am 32 yrs. old, single, and work full time as a Mental Health Tech. I am 6'2 and at my heaviest weight ever at 390 lbs. I have hypertension and is currently on 2 kinds of medication to keep it under control. I have a very big and extended abdomen, that my doctor tell me if i dont exercise, go on a diet, and eat heathier i may become a diabetic, because it runs in my family. i work 10 to sometimes 16 hours a day. Since this year started i walk with a friend that is in the same situation as me and we motivate each other to get out more and exercise. Hopefully i can keep doin more and start eating more healthier. i watch your show everyday, because you all have the most interesting and informative topics that helps me to stay motivated in loosing this weight and get back to doin when i was in my 20s. THANKS SO MUCH & MAY YOUR SHOW STAY ON THE AIR FOREVER!!!

80% of losing weight and keeping it off is your diet. Continue to exercise, but you will have to either eat smaller portions of the things you love or completely cut them out and eat fewer meals more often and drink lots of water while getting as much fiber as you can to keep you fuller longer. Just "pretend" like you have had gastic bypass surgery when it comes to eating.
