Hello All, I am new to this blog, and actually I like to read them but never have contributed so openly. I wonder are there any bloggers out there who have Graves Disease? Also, I am having surgery April 7 for lock finger and carpul tunnel on my left hand, not my dominate hand, seems strange huh? Anybody have anything to share on any of these subjects?

Sorry I don't have any advice for you,but wanted to wish you well on your surgery.
I have Grave's Disease--under control with meds.
Hi Sundancing. I am 49 yrs. old and I also have Graves Disease. I had to take RAI when I was 15 yrs. old, and had no problems until I was around 38 yrs. old, at which time I became hypothyroid. Because of that, I have to take a daily dose of thyroid medication which keeps my thyroid working properly. I have my thyroid levels checked about every 3-6 months to make sure they are in the proper range. Have you had any treatment for your GD?? If so, what have you had done?
Good luck to you on your surgery!!

You ust need to exercise the wrist. You have isolate certain mussle tendon so grab a 5 lb and exercise the whole wrist so the mussle will be balance. If there is too much pain, use the thumb from the other hand and apply some pressure on the wrist.
I have graves Disease. It is in remission currently. Wow what a ride that was! I have carpal tunnel in both hands and it is also in the elbows. I am ambidextrous. What would you like to know?

Hi, I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel about 3 years ago. I found that wearing a brace at night helps.
How did your surgery go?
