Hey guys!!!

I told you I would update you when I had started the Forteo and I have.

I started taking it on wensday and I am relieved to say it is really not all that bad.  The needle for the shot is really short. It is the size of a typical needle used by diabetics for giving insulin shots. I hardly feel it go in.  It does sometimes hurt when I inject the actual medication, but its not tooo bad just more like a stinging feeling.  I have yet to leave a bruise on myself (* knock on wood*) so I am happy about that.

Probably the most annoying thing is that because it can cause cardiac side effects and I have a history of cardiac problems my cardiologist wants to see me every six months for the next 2 years, instead of once every two years, but oh well. 

So yeah... that's about it for now, but I will update you when I know more,
