Hey all!  :)

So I won the battle with my insurance company over my forteo.  They did not want to cover it because well basically because it was a brand name and has no generic available.  However we got my doctor to fill out exception forms which went up for review and were rejected. When that happened he wrote a note to the insurance and I have no clue what he said but after they got the note they then agreed to cover my forteo. It's times like this I thank God for doctors like him that don't give up. 

Now I am waiting for my first month's worth of doses to be delivered. The insane thing is that Until we meet our deductible it's $906.87  So it's insanely expensive but because of everything that I go through it really shouldn't take too long to meet our deductible hopefully.

I am really happy excited and nervous to start the forteo. It's a chance to do something to stop all the broken bones, but it also means giving myself shots which freaks me out cuz I hate shots.

Whatever we'll see how it goes. I'll let you know.
