Hey guys!
So the thing is, I may not be able to go into PT. Those of you who read my blog entitled Bone biopsy, know why, even those of you who know me kinda well can probably figure it out, but my question is does anyone have any ideas for me? I know I still want to go into something medical, but I am not exactly sure what... so I was hoping someone on here might have an idea.
Thanks,
Brianna

Try looking up what is involved to become a Medical Lab Technician. You get to be a big part of a patient's diagnosis, by running lab tests. Its a field that isnt over run by females. I did it and I loved working in the lab. Hopefullywhen I find an answer to my chronic pain I will b able to return to work.

How about a phlebotamist(hope that's spelled right)

Research of some kind?

Hey!
So thanks for all the great ideas!
I really don't know what I want to do, I am looking into all suggestions, but I am not too sure about some cuz I really don't like needles. Which is pretty ironic because I have had so many shots, IV's and blood draws that the numbers must be in the thousands by now. So I am not too sure if Phlembotomist or Lab tech would work too well, because a Phlembotomist draws the blood, and at a lot of clinics, a lab tech will draw blood if there isn't a Phlembotomist there. So...... I don't know how well that would work, but I am not discounting them entirely. The school I go to has great programs for both!
Thanks again!

Thanks for all the ideas!
I am working on looking into everything! This week is extraordinarily busy for me. I have two confirmed appointments down at Mayo plus a whole bunch of testing. I know for sure that I will see endocrinology again this week, and then I will see my ENT or ( Ear doctor) Otolaryngologist on thursday. A lot is riding on this week medically. I also have classes and labs to attend, plus work, oh what fun!
I have set up an appointment with our career development center here at school, so hopefully they will be able to help.
Thanks again for all the ideas and if you think of anymore just post them please!
