Hello all and welcome to Minnesota!

I just felt that I had to share this joyous day with you! Today is joyous not only because we are all here but because today for the first time since October it has reached 40 degrees in MINNESOTA!!! It is warm outside and people are walking around in sweatshirts ( the real diehard minnesotans) or a lighter jacket.  Spring is comming, although we are suppose to get 5-7 inches of snow tommorrow! There is a song about Minnesota that goes like this :

Well we come from Minnesota were the sky blue water flows,

10,000 lakes or maybe more its up north we all go.

the Lady Slipper is pink and white the Common Loon is our bird, it swims and dives its call it must be heard.

MINNESOTA your called the gopher state just off of interstate 32 and we think you are great.

In all seriousness, in this state we have what jokingly call 4 seasons fall winter spring and summer although any real Minnesotan knows they are really almost winter, winter, still winter and road construction. We have one of the top Health Care centers in the Nation in Rochester ( The Mayo Clinic) and we still freeze our butts off probably about 150 -200 days of the year and rest we sweat them off in the heat of summer.

Anyways I just had to share my excitment with you in the fact that we ( Minnesota) had finally made it to 40 degrees!

I love here and wouldn't move for the world!

I am crazy and I know it! I've grown up hearing words like snow, ice fishing, you betcha...

this is the state I love!
