Hello all!

First of all I want to thank you all for your kind words and for your prayers!! You guys have been so thoughtfull and helpfull to me through this hard and weird time! It has been great to know that someone else is praying for me! So to get down to it, today I went back to the wound clinic. I saw two nurse practitioners, a nurse, and a general surgeon.  They removed my unnaboot and as I suspected my wounds had started to heal. This is typical. It is now the last week in Feburary and the wounds showed up the last week in January 1 month ago. This is the normal time table for them. However unlike normal they are still quite red and inflamed and my leg is still very swollen with the swelling now reaching up my leg past my kneecap into my upper thigh.  They took pictures today to document the difference and the surgeon looked at the wounds. He decided that he did not want to do the biopsy today because he wanted to do the biopsy on the wounds when they weren't healing but when they were just first appearing.  So unfortanetly we have to wait untill they appear again as we know they will. It will probably be sometime within the next month to two months. For now they put a new Unnaboot on my leg to help the healing continue on that leg, told me to stay on my crutches and off of my leg as much as possible, and decided that I was a certified Genius since I had been admitted early to the graduate school for Physical Therapy. ( Normaly you apply in your junior year and see if you get in, when I applied to the college my application was also reviewed by the PT grad school and I was accepted by them also! this was no small feat as I was only to be a freshmen in College) They told me to come back in 1 week to see how the wounds are doing after another week in the unnaboot. So it seems to be a waiting game, almost prolonging the inevitable as we know we will have to have a biopsy at some point but we just don't know when!

I will let you all know next week how it looks and how everything goes! I will for sure tell you when I finally do have the biopsy done!
