I have a massive pimple on my leg under my right thigh and it is very itchy. It is around 10 cm wide and it is red, and it hurts when I poke it. It is so big that when I sit down it hurts, I would like to get rid of this problem by tomorrow.

Try dial soap...the liquid then
Apply a benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid topical cream on the pimple. If the spot is under the surface of the skin and hurts to the touch, use benzoyl peroxide. Salicylic Acid should work well for all other acne spots.
these hurt really bad. Good luck to you.
Have it checked for MRSA. It doesn't sound like anything that is going away overnight. SORRY!
That may not be a pimple, if it's that big it could be MRSA the superbug. You should go to a doctor quickly and have it drained and swabbed, don't drain it yourself as you will get MRSA in your home and could maybe put your family at risk. If it is MRSA a doctor can drain it, flush it, cover it with a dressing, and probably prescribe an antibiotic. If all this is done correctly you shouldn't have more problems with it in the future. If you want more info on MRSA check out my other blogs, MRSA May be too Graphic, and Seeing Red. They are older blogs, you can go to my profile and click on see my blogs to find them. Please see a doctor and be sure it is treated correctly so you don't suffer with it over and over again.
Hi, it might not be a pimple, it could be a CYST a form of skin cancer. Last year I had what I thought was a pimple on my chin that just would not go away. It hurt, got big, would even drain, but just would not go away. I waited over 6 months to have it checked out. After trying 2 different medicines I finally convinced my Dr to send me to a Specialist. Turned out it was skin cancer from the Sun. It is called Squamous Cell Skin Cancer. When I went to the Specialist I also had just dicovered another small lump the size of a pimple on my right calf. I had him look at that lump also. BOTH were forms of skin cancer, each with different names. The Doctor can cut the lump out in the office but sometimes it can lead to being put in the hospital to have the procedure done. For me, my lump on my calf went good. One slice and a few stiches and it was gone. But, my chin "pimple" was stubborn. My doctor tried 3 times in his Office cutting my chin open and digging the stuff out trying to get all of the cancer out, but he could not get it all out so I ended up being put in the hopsital and knocked out and they cut again and did a frozen procedure and finally got it all. I had let it go too long on my face and it had spreaded. Now I am scarred alot and regret letting it go too long. Don't mess with it and have it check out. Hopefully it is only a pimple for you and not nothing worse. Best of luck.
its what you would call a horizine if it were me i would pop it and get out all that pus , because if you dont it will just fill up more and get bigger an so painful that you will half to go to the drs they will cut it an drain it then stuff it with golls trust me that will hurt worser than you popping it your self
Oh Loribeth, that is such bad advice. It could very well be MRSA if it is not drained by a doctor in a sterile enviroment that can be cleaned; swabbed, and treated, it can get into the bloodstream and he may have it the rest of his life. Doing it yourself at home, is extremely dangerous. MRSA can live on a dry surface for up to 14 days, and if not treated properly can be fatal. If you drain it at home, you risk infecting everyone else in your household. If it does not end up being MRSA you risk a serious infection using household items that aren't sterile. If it is not swabbed there is no way to know for sure what it is and what anti biotic will work for it. Thanks to poor advice like that MRSA is killing me, there are only 2 drugs left that can treat it. If I had gotten the proper treatment early, it would not have gotten in my bloodstream and I might be ok today. I'm not trying to be mean, but MRSA is a serious problem, and now it is spreading throughout the community, because people don't realized what a big deal it is to not only have it treated but to have it properly covered so they don't spread it in public places.
