I have Crohn's Disease and in 1987 I had a bowel resection after a bowel perforation.  The surgery left a large, ugly scar on the midline of my stomach.  20 years later, in May 2008, I had to have another bowel resection due to stricture, through the original scar.  In January 2009 I had a hysterectomy, leaving my right ovary for hormones.  Again through the same incision.  In August I had to have the right ovary removed due to a mass that was discovered after having pain.  Unfortunately for me, the attempt to do laparoscopic surgery failed due to scar tissue so they went in through the same place for the fourth time.  A week after surgery I developed an infection which resulted in the incision being opened and then the use of a wound vac.  Two weeks after going home from the hospital I developed a Pulmonary Embolism and was again admitted back to the hospital. During my stay, another infection was found and the wound vac was discontinued.  The incision is now closed, but because of the way it healed my stomach looks like a butt!  It's so embarrassing.  I don't know how to get the rest of my stomach to flatten out enough to get rid of my second butt.  I have no clue if exercising would help or what else I can do. At this point I don't know if I'm coming or going.  If it weren't for my feet I wouldn't know which way is forward.
