About Me
I try to have a positive outlook on any situation that life brings. I definately learn something new everyday. I am married and have 3 children. The last time I did something for someone was the day before Thanksgiving. I dropped in the bank and I was talking to the gentleman over the branch that I bank at. We were talking about coffee and coffee travel mugs. He did not have one. When I left the bank I went to the store and I purchased him a coffee travel mug. I took it to him and you know he said "I made his day." I believe in trying to help others as often as you can if they are truly in need. I am truly blessed. My husband and I have pure bred working line German Shepherds. We have two females that have recently had puppies. They are keeping us busy! We live in the country in Tennessee and love it ! We have a large fenced in yard so our five year old son, Elijah can play. He helps his dad train the German Shepherds. He is quite the young man. He saw a little girl about his age on our local news. Someone had stolen her power wheels car from her front yard. It really upset him and he asked us if he could give the little girl his big jake, which is also a power wheels. We called the station because he wanted to take the money from his savings and buy her a new power wheels. We met the reporter at a Walmart and Shrek led him through the store and he picked out the power wheels and helmet he wanted to buy for her. We delivered the power wheels to her home. We have always showed him and explained to him how important it is to payback. We are really proud of him! He keeps me going and I enjoy participating in any activity that will help him develop in to the young man that we want him to be. I have fibromyalgia and somedays it's all I can do to move. So, I am happy to have the distraction from my pain. It has truly been a challenge and I am sure it will continue to be. I do not dwell on my pain because if I did I would be no good to nobody even myself.

Don't feel bad. I have either M.S. or Diabetivc Neuropathy, I used to have 2 speeds, slow & stop. I have 2 new speeds, slower yet and stop. I try to use humor to take away the disability. When I do theraputic horseback riding, I'm the self appointed class clown. Glad you have your dogs to distract you. They're great companions. Am trying to safely wean off insulin & lose weight. It's working but will take another 4 or 5 months to reach my goal. My friend has it and he has the same attitude as you do. He knows he can't do as much as he used to also. Please keep me posted.
