I'm a country boy with a love for the country life and all that it offers . I work as a custom home builder , building houses with old style Historical Charleston design in a completely preplanned village atmosphere . Totally opposite from my own personal choice for living ; a very closely developed community without a lot of privacy . I enjoy returning to my own secluded living place in the country to unwind and plan for the next project . I am a collector of many tools and equipment that are part of my investment in the building business ;therefore the need for the extra space and privacy without all the restrictions . My love for the arts is what inspires me in the building business , I enjoy building what is not necessarily part of the norm , sort of outside the box . I guess that pretty much describes me , "outside the box" . If someone were to predict my next move it would have to be a random guess in order to be even close . I try not to complete the same exact project more than once , everything should have an original touch , just as each person . I enjoy growing plants in my own small plant nursery and I'm amazed at the diversity in the plant kingdom . I enjoy planting some of the plants from my nursery at each house that I build as a permanent growing gift to a friend . The new homeowner is best as a good friend ; this makes for good public relations . I truly enjoy building, especially the people that I meet whom make it all worthwhile when they move in and make it a home . It is so interesting to watch as they move in and decorate their new house ; this is what inspires and affords me the opportunity to continue .
