About Me

I have a 6-year-old son, Brady, who has cystic fibrosis. For those who don't know much about cystic fibrosis, we have a youtube video. Feel free to check it out, and send it on to others. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yM9DxPb0j6Q He is, without a doubt, my pride and joy. He handles all of his health issues without a second thought, and very rarely complains about his meds or treatments. He attends preschool, and I have become a teacher at his preschool, in the 1-year-old class. My husband is a security supervisor, and is also in the Army National Guard. We have dedicated our lives to finding a cure for this terrible disease. My prayer is that we will find a cure.

Hey Sassy: Thanks for the friend request! You and your son, Brady are so adorable and I love his name !!! My nephew has cerebral palsy so that has been a long, tough road for my little sister and her family. Luckily, he is healthy overall and has the sweetest disposition. The video of Brady is so touching and well done. My 15 yo son names is Brady. My name is Brad and we didn't really want a "Jr", and I had a friend in college named Brady, so that is how we cae uo with the name 15 years ago. It is now much more popular as I am sure you have noticed.I love helping people research advances in care, so if I run across any "breakthroughs" in treatment or potential cures for CF I will let you know. However, I bet your "ear is to the ground" way more than mine on this topic. So you can inform me if you like!
