About Me
I'm 30 and have suffered from a number of chronic conditions to which I have only recently found treatment. I have Vasomotorhinitis, chronic back pain from a car wreck when I was around sixteen. From the age of ten to 28 I had a ceaseless ever worsening headache. I was diagnosed with atypical migraines when I was about twelve, but then my family moved. The next doctor I had thought that I was lying and just threw prozac at me. When I had insurance I didn't receive treatment for my migraines. I did get to know them quite well. What I had was a base line headache that was residual from frequent migraines, which is why the headache steadily worsened. The average for migraines is about three times a month. I got migraines has often as three times a day. My average would be about four to six times per week. When I was in college my apartment flooded and I moved again. My parents were kind enough to provide me with insurance. I got a new doctor who believed that I had migraines. He started me on amerge, which worked, then he switched me to Maxalt which worked better. Then I was diagnosed with severe anemia due to my appalling diet. Which explains why I had been having such severe joint pains. I was prescribed Limberel, which worked. Then I quite my job because of breathing problems and my parents had to cancel my insurance because of money problems. I started watching Gillian's what not to eat on bbc and radically changed my diet. I especially eat a great deal of spinach. Then I bought Gillians book and found out about wild blue green algae, like spirulina and chlorella for migrainse. I buy Green Vibrance and drink it everyday; it prevents and treats migraines. I also looked at the ingredients for limbrel, because limbrel is so expensive. I now take skullcap, which has especially helped my knee pains. I haven't found any effective treatment for the back pain or the joint pain, especially my hands. I also haven't found anything much to help the breathing. I take the dratted nose sprays which help, but are not effective for the lungs. The thing about doctors is that they get paid for killing time and have no incentive to see to their patients well being. Doctors see patients as a nuisance and don't care about life crippling problems.
