Getting into the swing of things

I'm not going to lie, the first 2 days were really challenging for me.  I know it will get easier as the cravings go away, but I really just wanted bread and oatmeal and potatoes...yes, I'm addicted to carbs.   I was worried that I wouldn't like the lemon juice in hot water every morning, but was pleasantly surprised with that.  It reminds me of a lemony herbal tea and is actually quite soothing on the throat in the morning.  My biggest problem (and it always has been) is that I HATE water.  It makes me gag.  I don't care if it's room temp, ice cold, from faucet or the purest spring...I don't like it.  I was able to gag down just two eight oz. glasses each of the first 2 days.  I'm really going to have to try harder, with WW you could count green tea, or 0cal. drink mixes as water servings, so I was ok, but now...this is a problem.

I can forsee myself getting bored eating the same things everyday...there are only so many different ways to prep chicken/fish and veggies.  But...I just have to keep telling myself it's only for 17 days...then I can add some of my favorites back in.

If anyone has any great recipes for the first 17 days, please share!

When on this page, scroll down to and CLICK Join the Group. (Now there will be a link to this page on the right side of  your Profile page making it easy to get back to.)  Next choose a team to join. When you join a team it will display a PDF with the PLEDGE that you print and sign for your commitment. (This will be a POP UP page. Check your PopUp Settings) When you return to your Profile page you will now see an award icon  that shows the team you joined.
