I am 47 and going for my masters in Social work going for a emphsis in loss and trauma. 

I was born and raised in Kansas and i do have fibromylgia and ankylosing spondilitis.  I have also had migrianes since i was a baby and it is true when people tell you that their pain is increasing and a weather change is going to happen they are spot on.  I am the forcaster in my family LOL.  I have volunteered for the Red Cross dealing with fires, floods, and ice storms.  I love helping people that way.

I am also co-leader of our local fibro and chronic fatigue support group.  I want to try to educate more doctors that this is a real condition and not just something you imagine.  I am lucky in that the doctors i have do believe that it is a real condition.

I am a person that tries not to take life real serious but to live it and i constantly smile ( the only time my smile may fade is when i am by myself or when i am with my family) and it is when pain hits.
