Study said Hepatitis C Can Be Transmitted sharing razors. Can HIV be transmitted sharing razors too?

When I was a teen it was quite common for teens to share razors at slumber parties. Before 2000 a study was done where I think a mother & daughter caught Hepatitis C one from the other sharing a razor to shave legs. I know persons with tattoos discouraged from donating blood due to high risk of Hepatitis C among those with tattoos. Also, those with a history of sharing hypodermic needles for injecting drugs advised not to donate blood. I still think many may be sharing razors & good to do a heads up about risks of sharing razors periodically.
