Yes I want an alternative to all of these prescriptions. I have had chronic cluster migraines for 5 years and would give anything to live a normal life and do the things with my kids that other moms can do with no problem. I would love to be considered for this. To be pain free just for one day is a dream for me. I am a prisoner in my own home a hermit. Terrified to leave because at any moment a blinding headache hits me. My pain is always the same-around the left eye and temple. Left eye waters and same thing with the left nostril.Worse than childbirth-it never goes away. The only reason I am still in this world is because I dearly love my family and I will and have endured whatever life these headaches allow me.

I have been taking depakote 1500mg, verapamil 240mg, nadolol 20mg daily for a year now with barely any relief. I have lost half of my hair, gained 50+ pounds because of these meds. Right now from what I understand adding lithium to this treatment works in 80% of patients and thats the next medication I am in line for. If this surgery will give me 100% relief, I want to try. I havent had a normal life in more than 5 years. Before I sought treatment I used excedrine migraine which was just adding to the pain. I am open to anything at this point.

hello all i to am at wits end, i am the husband that tupperware speaks off but for another women who is also in tuppawares shoes. i have given up in tradtional medics/doctors. Main stream doctors have had 23 years to get it right while they watch me beg for pain relief whilst by wife watches on helplessly. the days of pain free i live in fear of the next attack. I know i am not alone or even unique, Please for the love of god allow this man to prove to main stream medicine that they dont have all the answers... what is the worst that can happen....main stream proven wrong....millions of migraine suferers and thier families lives restored.....main stream medics may have to admit they were wrong...no down side here in my eyes. migrainesurgery stay positive the most promonent men and women in history had critics. good luck in your endevours and techniques. it takes great character to go against the majority i know all long term migraine suffers will be encouraged by fact that there are people such as yourself seeking cures rather then money. ps I know my wife massaging the side of my head where the pain is along with cold packs does give some relief.probably as much as tradition migraine meds and guess what it is the same area where you mention these pressure points
