Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is defined as a medical condition in which a person sweats excessively and unpredictably. People with hyperhidrosis may sweat even when the temperature is cool or when they are at rest.

I, myself, have suffered from this condition for as long as I can remember. When I was finally diagnosed, I was given numerous treatments, none of which cured or even phased my sweating in the least. Because of lack of money and the struggle with insurance companies, I am unable to try some of the more expensive treatments such as Botox or surgery. This would make for a great show because I'm sure there are lots of people out there struggling with the same thing I have to every single day. It is something that affects me on a very personal level, socially and mentally. It would be nice to see guests that have dealt with or are currently dealing with this, and the steps they have taken (successful or not) to overcome this condition. I, myself, have never met anyone with Hyperhidrosis so I think it would be wonderful to learn how it has affected someone other than myself.
