4 Easy Ways to Boost Your Fruit Intake

Fruit is a no-brainer, but it's also not as readily available as that high-calorie chip pack in the vending machine down the hall. So, to help you get in your recommended two cups of fruit a day (more if you're physically active), here are four out of our total of 10 tips

* Feast away on apple slices throughout the day and you'll be less tempted to hit up the vending machine to satisfy your sweet tooth.

* Are late night ice cream cravings your diet downfall? Snack on frozen grapes instead. They're sweet, cruncy and cold.

* If you usually eat chips with your lunctime sandwich, try eating grapefruit instead. Peel and section a grapefruit in the morning before you go to work and toss it into a plastic zipper bag.

* Keep a bowl of fresh fruit on your kitchen counter. You're more likely to grab an apple, tangerine or peach if it's in sight.

Good tips.. I also like to get 10lbs of Blueberries and take a handful out of freezer for snack

Boy I wish I had the willpower.If I put fruit on the counter I would still rummage through things til I found some chocolate....I love sweets to much.Donuts and Butterfinger candy are my down fall.In defense of myself I do eat fresh fruits when they are in season and like my veggies.I also take Acai Berry pills or juice to help me.
