I am a retired Human Resource professional and I now enjoy my hobbies of painting,sewing, and various collections including antiques. 

I enjoy the priviledge of age!  People tend to listen more to what I may say, as well as disregard more at other times.  I love spending time with my family, and have enjoyed a deeper commitment to friends, acknowledging the blessing of having close companions. 

I am trying to make peace with the changes age has brought to my body, both in appearance and in discomforts.  I don't want to chase youth as in trying to look half my age, but I would like to slow down the deterioation of my facial appearance.  

The last gift I bought a close friend who was working two jobs was a pair of warm fuzzy leopard slippers and a ruffled knit wrap to wear when she finds time to watch TV.

What I love about life are the constant challenges and opportunities available for lifelong learning and to enjoy oneself.   For every disappointing experience,  there are countless new things to try.  Learning something new is a another opportunity for happiness and satisfaction.
