Howdy. I am 29 years old. For 3 years now I have been dealing with lower back pain. The pain has spread to my right hip, shoulders and neck. I have been to more doctors than I have finger. I got a series of 3 spinal epidurals. That helped a little but not much. I had to quit my job 3 years ago and have tried to get a job but once people find out I have back pain they say they are no longer hiring. ARG!
Can anyone help me????????
Sincerely, Petperson

I have a back pain too. i wish that my doctor could do more test. i have done an x-ray before but it was normal. I know how you feel. hope you feel better.
Have you tried a chiropractor? Is it a pinched nerve? Have you gotten an MRI of it? Sorry for all the questions but they all came to mind when I read your blog.
Melissa.
Best of luch to you. I have a similar problem and have had so many tests, and no answers. It is very frusterating and stressful.
So you are a petperson - I am too with owning two ShihTzus - which really help me deal with my chronic pain.
I too suffer from lower back pain and have had two back fusions which really did not help at all. I received the majority of my relief from the Bonati Institute in Hudson, Florida. My BC/BS insurance paid for it all. I was there for one month and had four minimally invasive surgeries. They removed one of the screws in my back, and they burned away two facet joint nerves that were killing my butt. They also burned a nerve away in my neck which had been killing me for 16 years. They do not believe in fusions there; they just remove the nerves that are causing the pain.
If you are not able to do this due to non insurance, I have learned that if I lay on my bed at night on an icepad and do twenty leg lifts only about two feet off of the bed, tightening my abdominal muscles, I get great relief. Do these every night; the idea is to tighten the core muscles of your abdomen. Also I try sit on a large ball straight up and watch TV for about 1/2 hour, lifting my feet up and down which again is tightening the core muscles.
I also do twenty squats per day and that too will strengthen you inner thighs which will take more of your body weight.
I wish you luck. Email me back if you are interested.
