About Me
My husband and I have been married for 21 years and we live in a very small house in a small community in Ontario, Canada. I am a stay-at-home mother of three whom until this year also did child care in my home.
Both my parents have passed before I had children, my mother from oat cell cancer and my father with congestive heart failure.
I am a 48 year old obese woman currently suffering from fybromyalsia, (which has left me at times very immobile) with high blood pressure, inactive thyroid, mild sleep apnea, high cholesterol, high hernia and background headaches plus several less severe problems. Let’s just say that I am in constant pain and have been unable to find anything that helps. I have tried all kinds of pain, anti-inflammatory and depression medications of which the side effects cause more problems than the small limited amount of pain relief was worth. So when things need doing I push through it as best I can, which usually mean I pay the consequences afterwards.
Recently I worked very hard to lose weight and get in better shape thinking that losing the weight and being healthier would lead to less joint pain and more mobility. I was on a roll then my blood pressure soared I was told to stop all activity and especially to stop drinking the water. Specialists, stress tests, and ultrasound of my heart excreta revealed nothing and of course while doing all this I gained some of the weight back. My medications were adjusted and new ones added. Finally I was cleared to start exercising again, but still asked to not drink a lot of water.
It is hard to get back into the routine I was doing before as I am having more trouble with weakness in my limbs but I am trying.
I love your show and my children and I watch it almost daily, especially my teenage daughter and I. (Mind you there are times when I have to change the channel for certain topics or send them out of the room). But it has also expanded discussions with my daughter to things she normally wouldn't talk in the open about. Sometimes we look at each other and comment on how much we wish we had been in the audience for certain shows.
Please don't change a thing, we love it the way it is
