I like to watch the Doctors whenever I can. I am interested in holistic health. I would like to know about natural remedies for inflammation in particular and high blood pressure. I have an eye condition called uveitis that was diagnosed back in 2005 and since being treated for that problem have had complications from the disease itself and the treatments involved. I need to use prednisol drops in my eyes which helped cause me to get cataracts in both eyes so I had cataract surgery in both eyes. Now I recently had a detached retina which I am stlil recovering from. There is a gas bubble in my right eye that drives me crazy trying to see through that eye. I was on prednisone for a couple of years which gave me pretty much everything you could get from that including moon face, black stretchmarks, weight gain, muscular aches and pains which didn't help since I also have fibromyalgia that was diagnosed back in 1993. To get me off of the prednisone but still control the inflammation of the uveitis I was put on methotrexate which after taking that for a couple of years made me become anemic so the dosage is down to half of what I was taking but the inflammation is worse so I need to use more prednisol eye drops which is stlil that steroid going into my body all the time. I wish there was a more holistic way to treat my disease. They did all sorts of tests on me and everyhing came out negative so they don't know what is causing the uveitis only that it is a chronic condition I probably will have to live with and control for the rest of my life. I also have a cyst behind my left eye and a macular pucker that was noticed since I had the cataract surgery. Straight lines look wavy. It is very frustrating to try to do anything when you can't see well. At least on the computer I can zoom the page several times to make it large enough for me to see. It is difficult trying to read mail cuz the fonts are so small and a magnifying glass doesn't always help much. I guess that is my health story as current as you can get. I enjoy writing poetry and have lots of poems onlne at the starltecafe and postpoems but I don't go there much anymore cuz I limit my computer time cuz my eyes get tired even zooming pages.
