About Me
I am 37, married to an Army soldier with one stepson. I have a cat and a dog who keep me company while my husband is serving in Iraq. I am an only child of only children parents. So my family is very small, however my husband's family is wonderful and he has siblings who are married. His son is the only grandchild in the family.
Health wise I am struggling with something it seems. I got ulcers when I was 10 and I was a science experiment sort of bc it was so uncommon for children in the 70's to have ulcers. I have been scoped 4 times and it only shows that yes I have ulcers. I refuse to do it anymore, bc it is very uncomfortable and I know my symptoms. I have been tested for H Pylori twice and found it the first time. I have done a college report on ulcers and this bacteria to learn more about it. I have migraines since college started. I take an Imitrex nose spray and it works within about 3 minutes. It does taste awful so I tend to put it off. My most important illness is being bipolar. I was sad at age 10, suicidal at age 17, and struggle all the time with this. I have been manic once but usually really depressed and unmotivated. I have been on over 20 drugs to try and over 20 professionals to "help" me. This disease has cost me so much money in services and medicines that it makes it worse for me. I am stable now for the last 2 years bc my lifestyle has changed. Seroquel and Lamictol are the 2 drugs that work the best. If you want more info about this from me, just ask. I am very open about talking about any of my conditions. A few years ago I realized that stress can bring about IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I was told that it was not curable but could be regulated with medicine. I now am off the meds and doing fine. Maybe not "cured" but in "remission".
I speak Spanish, some French and have way more education than I ever get paid for. I love trying new work, usually low pay but teaches me more things. I love to go out and dance, I do scrapbooking and started selling a new product called Uppercase Living. Check out my website at http://kristam555.uppercaseliving.net
