ok so i went to sleep last night with a tampon in and the string never goes in i mean never!!!! the tampons in and the entire string is left out. but when i woke up this morning it was gone!!! i can't find it! i only went to bed last night with one in because it was the first day of my period and i couldn't find a pad..(so what am i gonna do go to bed and get my bed all bloody?) i'm still bleeding... does that mean its stuck or is it out and i don't know it? and i should go to a ob/gyn? (never been to one i must admit i'm only 18). someone please help!!!

Are you having pain? If so I would suggest you should go to ur physican.
no pain i can't feel anything. i don't know if its there or not. i'm very paronoid right now since i don't see it anywhere and can't feel anything.
As gross as this may sound, put you finger in your vagina and feel around for it. If you don't feel the tampon, it probably came out and is either flushed down the toilet or stuck somewhere on sheets or clothing. I think there is just so far it can go.
i would go to the doctors asap...good luck hun..
Do you absolutely, positively remember putting one in? Some women felt like you and went to the ER only to find nothing. They thought they had inserted one when they actually didn't.
thanks for all your help!!! i found it! it was on the floor beside my toilet (all gross n stuff) i don't how or when it fell out but thank God! i don't understand how i just don't seem to feel anything. but thanks again i really do appreciate it!
