About Me

I AM 72 YEARS OLD. Remarried in March of 2010, after being married for 47 years to my High school Sweetheart who passed away unexepectedly in 2006.  I am 5'9" tall and weigh today 230 lbs.  I started the 17 day diet 13 days ago and weighed 243.8 at weigh-in.  I have been a career woman and a Model at different times of my life.  I am dissappointed that I was able to do well in other aspects of my life and could never get a handle on my weight. The least I ever weighed was 143 lbs. in my adult life.  I lost so much I developed an arythymia and my Doctor told me to never get below 155 because my frame needed more than 143 lbs.  I have owned a couple of weight loss clinics and have counseled clients, including Doctors.  I taught behavior modification also, so it is not like I don't understand how it works.  So far my Diet is on track and I am enjoying watching the scale move in the right direction for a change.

Loving my measuring tape

Hi Everyone

I am beginning to feel better now,  Thank heavens the cold seems to have run its course.  I am also happy to report that this a.m. I am now 228 when I started 3 weeks and 3 days ago I weighed 243.8.  Any time you can change numbers it seems to make you feel better.  I hope all of you are doing well also and I thank my friends who have tried to help me...

I am ready to show the older viewers that it is never to late to lose weight and to improve your Health and appearance.  I have a walking disblitity and excersise is difficult at best but I am ready to give it a shot.  I am commiting myself to walking 15 mins. a day now and adding 15 mins. every 17 days.  I am hoping that will be enough initially to keep my mobility and to keep losing weight.  Any one who is a Senior and wants motivation please pray for me and join me.  I know we can do this.
