my son when he was 5 had lazy eye he had to patch the good one for 2 hrs a day for a year he hated it but it worked i also have lazy eye too late for me my muscles in my eye are not good lol try it dont wait so long what u are doing is stengthing the eye muscles it will force the eye stright  my son is now 13 so he is good

I have heard that contacts can pull the eye forward, but I don't know how true that is.

Hi Mr Pink, My son was born with Amblyopia and we did the patching thing, the glasses . it helped but the only thing that really helped him was the opperation for it. there are good and bad to the operation. the good is that the eye turns back in . the bad is that , a normal persons eye had no up down and side to side motion, but after the operation you do. every now and then it will turn out . when he is tired or sick. but he no longer sees things double. which is a bonus my son is now 18.  you may want to see an eye specialist and get a consult on it to see if it is woth doing also as you get older you can't have it done . good luck.
