Well, today is day 15, and although I had a couple of minor slips, I have managed to lose 8.4 pounds. I still have not worked out, but am planning to tonight when I take my daughter to gymnastics. Until last night, I had not been able to go to the bathroom, so I was kind of miserable. With a little help from Miralax, I was finally able to unclog my pipes. I went 4 or 5 days without losing any weight, but I think that it was because I was not eating ALL of my meals. I was averaging between 500 - 600 calories a day and I think that my body went in to starvation mode. I increased my eating and the weight started coming off again. I am really looking forward to starting phase 2, but I think that I may stay on phase 1 for a few extra days, to make up for those days that I wasn't eating. I was a little disappointed with my weight loss number, until I put in to perspective that it was a 4 pound loss per week, which is good. I am also not extremely overweight...30 - 40 pounds, so I am not going to lose at the same rate as someone who is 100 or more pounds overweight. I do have a question though...when does the energy kick in? I am still pretty lethargic, which is one reason why I haven't worked out. Several people talk about how much more energetic they are feeling. No signs here, yet.

I felt more energy the first day; however, I felt even more over the next few days. Everyday I find I can get so much more done. You said you increased you food intake, but are you eating all the listed foods? If you are, maybe there is something else going on, and you should check with your doctor?
@annieloseit.....what I meant by increasing my food intake was that there were several days in which I only ate breakfast and dinner. No lunch or snacks. I just don't think about eating. I've always lived on 1 or 2 meals a day. Either I don't want to stop what I'm doing or I'm just not hungry and don't think about it. I have not eaten anything that wasn't on the list, except for the Taco Bell that I had one night because I didn't feel like cooking.
