Have they done an ultrasound or anything when you went to the doctor? If not, I'd go see one and get this test done...I'd see a gynecologist, not a primany care if possible.

My daughter is trying to diagnose basically the same symptoms. Her doctor told her to stop chewing gum as the artificial sweetner does not digest in the stomach, but in the intestines and may cause gas. Also she was asked to avoid drinking alcohol entirely for one month and follow some other dietary restrictions. The doctor said it sounds like IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). She may have a colonoscopy if the problem persists.
maybe i should get an ultral sound on my stomach but what is it soppose to do?
An ultrasound wouldn't be for your stomach...it would be like for you uterus, ovaries, etc. I wasn't sure if the pain seemed GI or pelvic, but it depends on where the pain is---does it feel like menstrual cramps? or in your intestines kind of. Others have a good point in seeing a gastroenterologist if it feels in you intestines. I'm not a doctor, but writing from personal experience. I have IBS and that can be at times a nightmare to deal with. If you do see your PCP again, maybe he or she can guide you in the right direction.....if he/she finds nothing wrong, then maybe a specialist would. Let me know how you are doing.

I have the same thing going on and have had similiar symptoms. I work for gastroenterologist and I advise you to go see on. Most likely they will have you get a colonoscopy-it sounds worse than it really is. They will have you get tastless over the counter things as a prep, and you will be knocked out for the procedure. Good luck, and it does sound like it would be IBS.
I had the same problem for years. I finally requested allergy testing. I felt ok..until I ate. I found I was allergic to the food i was eating. My severe allergy was soy. Soy is in everything you eat from gum to can vegetables..some frozen and pre seasoned meat. Check labels it is in everything even hidden on labels as Hydro. Veg. protein... I urge you to get tested...
thankyou everyone the pain is till going on i was on the couch yesterday at 3 in the morning with my stomach pain crying... i didnt want to wake me mym so i didnt i just layed there in pain... should i call for an appointment.
yes. I would.
Melissa.
I would like to add I was hospitalized 3 times for diverticulosis. I have had CT scans and colonoscopy. I been diagnosed with diverticuli, gastroparesis, IBS, even one Doctor tried to say I was depressed. None of these diagnosis medication made the pain go away. When I found out I was allergic to everything I was eating and started trying to control the soy I ate. I began to get my life back. I am sure I had all of the think they diagnosed me with but they were all caused by my allergy to SOY and Wheat!!

Yes, go to your doctor. It could be any number of things in the areas of your colon, intestines, stomach, etc. Remember, EARLY DETECTION is key to A CURE. Don't procrastinate.
THANKS EVERYONEE!
