17 day diet

I'm trying to do some research on this diet. Can someone please give me some information on it. I've been on another diet since febuary of 2010. I've lost 152 lbs so far. I have approx 60 lbs to go. I only eat some meats, but NO dairy, NO white flour, NO sugar, NO oils, NO butters. How would the 17 day diet fit into what I'm already doing?  I do drink well over a gallon of water every day & I'm taking the pill calledPhendimetrazine. Which next month I will have been on for 1 year. What kind of foods can you & can't you eat? Some answers would be great. Thanks. :-)

Have you ordered the book, Miley? btw, GREAT job on that weight loss so far! I think you could easily transition to this diet, but if what you're doing now is working, why change? The first cycle is chicken, fish, eggs, probiotic yogurt twice a day, two fruits before 2pm each day, and lots of non-starchy vegetables. And, at least 8 glasses of water. Green tea and coffee are allowed (green tea encouraged), but they don't count as your water.  Cycle 2 is a bit more lenient, allowing some lean meats and a few new veg. I haven't really read ahead too far, so that I can really focus on the cycle I'm on.  This doc also recommends 2 Flintstone vitamins each day. I'll have to get some of those. Check with your doctor before you make any changes, OK?

kcazes.....IMO you're better off taking one adult multivitamin rather than the flinstones vitamins.  Look at the ingredients of flinstones...saccharin is one of them.  IMO, not good.

I mean aspartame, not saccharin.
