I have recently gone through some health issues. Which I'm still going through. But now I'm sick & tired of feeling sick & tired. As of 2-18, I went to a weight lose specialist. Every week I get pills, a vitamin B shot & they weigh me in. Yestrday was my first weigh in and I've lost 7.25lbs in 1 week. I so excited about this. Now I just want this weight to go away. I've also joined the Y & I work w/ a personal trainer. This last visit to the ER scared me enough to get my act together. I don't want to die like my dad did. He died of PAD perifieral artery disaese. He had both of his legs amputated, he had several heart attacks, strokes, seizures, by pass surgeries & more before he died. I had a test done to my legs to check for blockages in my arteries & they did show some blockage in both of my legs near my pelvis area. Plus I to now have the same circulation problems my dad had. I'm so scared out of my mind right now. All I can do is just get this weight off before it's to late for me to. He died when he was 42 years old. I'm now 40. The simalaraties are far to scary for me now. I'm done.It's do or die time for me. Thank you for who ever reads this & I could use all the help I can get. I WILL DO THIS. :-)

I know how hard it is to loose weight. I once was 330 pounds I am now in my mid 170ish and had a GASTRIC BYPASS in 1999 and I too almost died! TRULY and I NEVER SUED ANY DR EVER BUT GASTRIC BYPASS SHOULD ONLY EVER BE DONE AS A TRUE LAST RESORT I M O....
It was after my surg and the next day when I was over dosed with medications. A whole team of Drs rushed into my room after the cleaning woman found me with black lips. Believe it or not I WAS above my body hovering and watching this whole exerience from THE CEILING! The DRS put a drug in me called NARCANON? which took out all narcotics and then I was rushed to ICU for one night.
TRUST ME SWEETIE SLOW AND STEADY GETTING this weight off. I was looking for a quick fix with the GASTRIC BYPASS and now I have a lifetime of bloodwork, VITAMEN SHOTS, Horse pills all sort of IRON RX pills,PRENATAL VITAMENS CALCIUM dumping syndromes etc.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear about your medical problems. I see why you are so determined to lose weight and get on the right track. I am here and I know many other's here are here for you. I can't believe your father died that early. I hope you are able to get a grasp on the issues and clear up the blockages. Thank you Lablefree & jeffhubbydaddy for your support. This is going to be a long road for me, but i will do this. I thought I weighed approx 365lbs. But at my first weigh in I was 380lbs. Talk about a wake up call. I'm hungry all the time. i just want the hunger pains to go away. I don't eat though. I drink my gallon of water.I will keep moving forward. Again thank you. :-)
