I just saw my neurologist today. He was saying how certain songs will illicit (sp) seizures in some people, and he thinks this is happening to me because I can't listen to certain songs or voices come, which might be caused by seizures (if that makes any sense). So when I listen to certain songs, it brings on hallucinations in the fom of voices. EEG is Sept. 1, and between now and then I'll need to get used to this again, after 2 years so far of desensitization from all of this through the music. Neuro thinks thinks I have seizures that may bring on the voices through music. I know I could google this and I will, just wanted to know if anyone has heard of this and if so what were results of EEG----did listening to music and voices bring on seizures? Thanks,
Melissa.

I found this link and it explains things well.
Still would like to more about it.
Melissa.
I Melissa. I have not heard of music doing that, but I know very little about the disorder you mentioned. I have heard seizures being brought on by flashing lights and/or very loud music.
btw, I'm back from the summer classes I took. yay!
