Almond Milk

Just letting people know they have Vanilla Almond Milk at the grocery store....I just tried it for the first time and  it tastes really good!  I got the unsweetened kind, but comes sweetened also.  It's worth a try and is has more nutrients than regular milk.  It's on the label.  A little less protein than regular milk, but benefits make up for itself in nutrients, at least IMO.

Here is some more info on it:

Almond milk is no dairy, lactose, cholesterol, peanuts, casein, gluten, eggs or MSG.  Excellent source of calcium vit. D and E and others, containes no added sweeteners (I get the unsweetened--they have sweetened too), no saturated fat, vegan.  Made in a peanut free facility.

I have been wanting to try the almond flavored. Is it soy or regular milk? I have been drinking vanilla

soy milk for about a year now, I love it on cereal, it has 60 calories per glass but I only have it on

the weekends so I really enjoy it, I eat dry cereal during the week.

It says it is a "non-dairy milk alternative".  Someone mentioned it had soy in it, but I couldnt find on the carton where it said that.  I don't know if it is either soy or regular, but if it is a milk alternative it makes sense to me it would be more toward the soy side.  The unsweetened almond milk has 40 calories/cup and the sweetened vanilla almond milk has 90 calories/cup.  I've been told there is a chocolate version but I havent seen it in stores here yet.

I will have to try it, I am still having trouble logging on, it seems to be a mystery. I can't click on the link

in the e-mail but if I type the site into search, I can log in. Does that make sense? I thought it strange.
