I experience this now more for personal reasons

but I am lucky that I work and can get out.

The winter is always hard for me, I don't handle

cold well and it depresses me when the trees are

bare and the birds don't sing but when I was younger

I would work a lot of jigsaw puzzles, and circle word

puzzles and play music more than any other time.

Some days were harder than others but I just found

things to keep me busy, now if I have spare time I am

surfing the web or playing games on my computer.

Thanks sludge, that's what I am doing the most too now--on the computer or have a movie on or something.   This season always seems to be the worst for me too for transitioning between seasons.  It will get easier eventually but in the meantime not knowing how your mood will be each day is hard to deal with.  Hard to plan things for.

or just hibernate and never look outside. That's

what I would like to do.

You think the mood light really works?  Is it expensive?

I'm for hibernating but I can only do it for so long (a long time, but still I'll eventually need to get out).

I think everybody in the whole world goes thru a stage,,when the seasons change,,in summer i love getting up very early and seeing the sun rise,,hearing our water falls and getting in my gardens for the day,,,so when fall comes,,its different cause its dark out early in the morning and all the flowers are gone,,so I feel a little sad,,UNTIL the first snowfall,,then its beautiful..we can go snowmobiling and I love to collect boughs and make wreaths to hang in my gardens,,so I totally undrstand why Im happy and why Im sad, Make sense ??The frost has nipped my leaves on the clock..beauty...

In my case though, I don't understand why it happens.  It's random timing and some days are ok while others are not.  There are no things that make me gloomy or sad; it just happens for no reason.

 i was just reading about the mood light, here they also sell day light  bulbs there a blue in colour bulb that do a very sim thing. i dont know if they do them there  but if they do there worth a try before u spend out on a pretty expensive light and it will give you a idea if the mood lights will work  for you. ]
